I think Porsche is at his best when he does some straight reporting of conversations with key players. So, while I agree that he can jump the gun a bit in his conclusions, I do trust his direct reports and find them pretty valuable.

Note that both the Gemplus and Motorola contacts described Identix as the only real biometric choice. It is not unreasonable. IDX is the 800 lb gorilla in this little zoo.
