I've seen conflicting and confusing figures out on the internet about the true book value of this company. Can someone tell me what the book value is, after you subtract out "good will"?

I've recently purchased shares of ALSC.

Thanks,
Harlan

regarding alsc's future price:

everyone seems to agree $15-$20 per share based on current valuations.

there are two more wild cards, actually three

1. the earnings of alsc, good, bad, or just in between. understand it is an up cycle but there are still dogs. hope alsc is a winner.

2. the price of umc. currently at 70+, why wouldn't it double, say in 12 months?! those foundries are hot!

3. chartered semi should go to ipo in singapore. best timing now. singapore market usually reward very high pe for techstocks. it is easy for chartered to be traded at 40x. then alsc will get another 200+ mil? however, i am least familiar with the chartered situation, anyone knows their revenue/earnings? and anything about potential ipo?

now the only number that i have regarding chartered semi:

alsc has 2.1% of chartered.

alsc has 2.8% of umc (250 mil / 8,800 mil)

if alsc's shares of umc worth 600 mil

alsc's share of chartered could worth:
2.1% / 2.8% x 600 x 0.5 = 225 mil

why 0.5? assuming chartered worth half of umc!
