A little OT

Morning Keith

Was just thinking about your situation and trading
evolution into mini's etc..

Although I definitely know that I am not ready for
that level of trading, was curious as to what indicators
you are using. As you know I am still using the very
simple indicator MACD and MA in which to show market
direction for my trades. Now so far these indicators
are proving to be very good on 200K-3mil vol stocks.
max 3000 trades a day. Now I realize that this is a
lagging indicator, I now only use them to establish initial
buying or selling direction and rely on the actual MD to
determine entry/exit. By the time the MACD has show a buy
or sell I am already in or already out.. It actually is
a very good simple preliminary indicator and has been very
good to me.

? . You have all that data flying at you and can no longer
rely on lagging indicators but require forecasting indictors,
are you still using candlestick for intraday and some
form of oscillator to forecast ? I see there is a thread
on your new interested subject is this covered there?
I will definitely start to follow that thread.

The reason I ask is on real fast moving stocks my indicators
are lagging way to much, and wondered if the forecasting
methods that you might be using could apply to the occasional
stock that really kicks up it heels occasionally here.

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated,Thanks.

Best Regards
