A rare, tender moment in the predominantly cutthroat message board arena - tissue anyone?

Yeah, that was a very typical Hoofat comment - NOT!

Thanks for keeping us all laughing during some dark days Bill.

The article also mentioned that "we should see Apple valued on par or better than other PC makers".

If this ever comes to pass at AAPL's current EPS... WOW!! Even at current prices, AAPL's PE is hardly 1/4 of DELL's and less than 1/2 of IBM's. I'm salivating at the possibilities :) Thanks to you and all the other good folks on this thread, I've kept the faith in AAPL. What a ride it's been, and it ain't over yet!

OK. I'm back in the world after spending my two weeks with the National Guard and find that I am being quoted out of context...

I was being sarcastic in that post (I figured those who knew me would get it!)

If the author saw my posted back around 97 or 98 when Apple wasn't doing so hot in which, I posted a bounty of all my AAPL shares to the first person to "bring me Gil Amelio's left ear!" They would not have viewed it as an emotional posting.
