Re: SOFTBANK breaking story. Now that someone brought it up, let me give you an update. I am glad to say that finally someone in the financial press has broken the story on the best-kept secret among Internet stocks (well, almost).

smartmoney.com
"Desperately Seeking Softbank"

Embarassingly it focuses on my site, netconductor.com , and me & reveals what an absolute raving lunatic I am. But it was a great article!

Softbank - Steve, I heard your very insightful remarks on the Vcall program and while
Softbank and a number of its investments - MESG, Etrade, etc - were mentioned you
never, and have never as far as I know, put Softbank forward as one of the top
investments. I can understand you may think it fully valued at current levels, but if so,
how can a Go2net or a HSAC not be similarly fully valued. Softbank continues to
impress me as the leading global internet holding company with interests around the
world that are truly unrivalled. If what you say about the potential of MESG and other
Softbank cos is true, Softbank should be in everyone's portfolio, no?

I think it also interesting that few people know that it can now be purchased here in the
US. When it lists on NASDAQ later this year/early 2000, I fail to see how it can be
anything but a moonshot.

Thoughts appreciated.
