Azurite is a basic hydrous copper carbonate. It air-decomposes to malachite, which is more copper and less carbonate.
Lazurite has soduim, aluminum, silicate ... it oughtta be white. I once saw an explanation for lazurite's color, and it was unconventional. **** me if I can remember it now.
