Haim, it's a speculative fever that is beyond rational thought. just look at the SOX components - they trade like i-nuts now as well.

Haim: Here is one for you. The analyst is happy about "Happy Meals" but not happy enough to raise his earnings estimates for MCD. However, he did raise his price target from 44 to 48.

MCD showed its beef and went up nearly 10 percent for the day. The poor analyst will probably have to raise his price target to 52.

Now that IBM has exceeded its raised price target, the price target needs to be raised again. I think this is perpetual motion.
