i am involved in the same business as congress financial and know them well. you are correct, this is a non-event ! it would be an entirely different story if they used the word " overadvanced ". an overline is usually supported by sufficent collateral. guarantees are requested principally as a means of getting management's cooperation in the event a liquidation scenario becomes reality. the fact that they put up a personal guarantee would indicate they have confidence in the company to survive. only problem is that it stated 1997 but not the length of the overline. my guess it may have been on a short term basis. so again, no big deal.
