Sometimes things just don't come out correctly:

"This small-cap manager has reason to smile"

Several stocks in the semiconductor sector are having a tough time of it lately. Has that dampened your enthusiasm any?

"Not really. There's a big debate as to whether or not the business is turning. And there are two schools of thought. One is that it's about D-RAMs, the microprocessors. And the other is about bandwidth. We're in the "It's about bandwidth" camp. All over, cities and organizations are building out new data networks on top of voice networks to handle the traffic. So it means that the demand for telecommunications semiconductors is about to explode. Add that to the fact that we're bringing out a whole new generation of wireless phones and DVD. Do the numbers -- there's not enough capacity. We just can't build it fast enough. So people who focus on the D-RAM market are missing the point."

D-Rams?
