Brokers who say "you gotta be long term" really admit how "Brainless & blameless" they intend to be.
I am,
Truly yours,

P.S. However, to be fair, I have 8 good ones, and 2 bad ones, so I hope if my 8 are reading this they do not take offense, but you other 2 better outperform or you are history. Like everything else, shop around and compare. If you really wait for $140, you could have made more than ($140-$125=$15), you could have made $15 many times over in increments of $5, $4, $5, $6, $9, $4, etc, and until the market makers can match online daytraders nickle for nickle, dime for dime (1000 share blocks) you will never have a smooth curve, this is simply the price of capital, the highest short term interest rate there is, daytraders loaning their money for the day, to help the market makers MAKE the MARKET. Thats capitalism. Not that theres anything wrong with it.(-Seinfeld) Just don't get "fooled" yourself. If you like to take it slow and long, and have the faith, there is nothing wrong with long term investors either, they also a part of the market. But lets face it, if the market were truly disciplined, the curve would be smooth, AOL and the others would be a slope gradient (a derivative) of its multiple to the 30 year bond or CPI and that would be that, until it announce re-inventing sliced bread. Until then, long term is not even back seat to daytrading, its in the trunk or plastered on the back bumper somewhere, I applaud your bravery however, and thank America that many people have your kind of faith. I am not an extreme daytrader because I never sell short, I sell, and wait to buy, but never sell short, so the short sellers can call me on my lack of outrageous bravery, but hey, we all have to draw the line somewhere, Yes AOL will be $140, but it is more likely to hit $118 three more times and $126 three more time first.
