Travis -

Orb's read performance has been verified to be close to what they claim. Unfortunately, the story is not the same for the write performance. Castlewood's write specs are what you get with write verify turned off, but the company recommends that all users enable write verify, which cuts the write performance roughly in half.

Jaz comes with write verify enabled by default, and Iomega doesn't misrepresent their specs by testing with write verify off.

As far as price goes, Orb certainly delivers.
