Indeed they did. As it is, however, my son does not know of my secret life and alternate personality. Or at least, I don't think he does. But come to think of it, he does sometimes refer to me as 'his own Homer', which perhaps suggest he does know. And here I had thought it was a mark of respect for my ability to wax lyrical about many a topic. One way or the other, I'm pleased to see that the schools are teaching him something worthwhile.
