McJimbo - Re: "So some people here report that AMDs yields are good and they are making a lot of chips but because they didn't get the other side of the story, they are made to look bad. "

One person got the story exactly right - about (at the time of the post) a MILLION UNSOLD KDAWG 62's.

Nobody here - you included - believed him.

Everybody believed that Hero Sanders was gaining market share, delivering up oodles of KMART 63's, and polishing up the LaughALON for a BLOWOUT introduction with all the major OEMs's standing up for their HERO-BUDDY Sanders in support of this mystery chip !

Jim,

Re: "I agree with Engel on this...if AMD screws this one up, it will be the
laughing stock of Silicon Valley."

You'd better get ready for that to happen, Jim ... The Cu Dresden process
is not going well, the released CPU's (K6-2/K6-3) aren't selling, and the
K7 is slipping. The quarterly losses are mounting ... BTW, your earlier
Q1/Q2 earnings prediction also made you look like an AMD "genius". <ggg>

Make It So,
Yousef

Can I join the bandwagon in agreement?

Jim - RE: "Now there is some doubt that AMD will get up to speed quick enough. Not much but a little."

Some doubt within AMD?
