Paul Matranga Joins Vitesse as Vice President, Quality CAMARILLO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 12, 1999--Vitesse Semiconductor Corp. (NASDAQ:VTSS) Monday announced that Paul Matranga has joined the company as the vice president, quality. Matranga will be responsible for management and continuous improvement of Vitesse's quality system worldwide, including Vitesse's fabrication facility in Colorado Springs, Colo. Matranga reports to Louis R. Tomasetta, Vitesse's chief executive officer and president. Matranga joins Vitesse from Intel (formerly Digital Equipment Corp.) in Hudson, Mass., where he spent more than 14 years in various quality positions, most recently as group quality manager. Prior to Intel, Matranga held various quality positions at General Instrument Corp. "Paul Matranga brings to Vitesse his extensive experience in managing quality programs and improving quality systems," said Tomasetta.
