true, bottoms almost seem to fall out without warning

i can guess short price entries decently but not 'when'
that is why my question/comments about TA FA and knowing the rhythm of a stock or whatever high level of risk inherent in a short play is magnified tremendously, imho

look forward to your short explorations, it gives an opportunity to the 'slow' to eek out profits on the rebound

ynot ;)

<<After getting some pointers on ECN short entry from Mark Seleznov recently>> Are these written down somewhere? I find myself chasing down short sales all the time and have wondered if there was some better entry strategy.

I much much prefer shorting to trading on the long side. It feels so safe, when the trade criteria has been met.

Re "stock name censored by thread police". No need to be that reticent, according to the thread intro it's "no
stockpicking". Discussing stocks , however is another
thing entirely, as is dissecting their patterns.
