<of HGSI discovery of BlyS which according to HGSI is a protein responsible for triggering B-cell production. Does this validate the genomic platforms. how significant is this discovery.> Wall Street certainly thinks it validates the genomic platforms [after some thought] although an INCY merger would increase it's value in the streets eye's based on the reaction of MLNM,HGSI vs INCY... not qualified to comment on significance of the discovery. Sugen, of course, got taken over. The performances of IMCL and SEPR are very impressive. No real losers, really. Maybe a nice list to begin with. My two favorites, MEDI and MLNM, may be a bit too rich right now. PB
