China, ahhh china... I wonder. Could they surprise us. I do recall that we both share concerns about whether or not the Asian contagion is over. With China's economy contracting as foreign investment avoids them, the fact that there is a massively active intervention in their stock market to maintain confidence, and their lack of official readiness measures with to Y2K.... there certainly is turmoil afoot, and a likely devaluation at hand (with the economic and political ramifications to go with it).
