I don't have the PC Data numbers for April handy, but message # 13513 has the numbers for May PC Data, and it says that the V3-2000 PCI was number one, with V3-3000 AGP in second place. Here's the quote.

"According to PC Data, which measured retail sales of the video card market for the month of May, the Voodoo3 2000 PCI was the No. 1 selling board in terms of both unit shipments and revenues, while the Voodoo3 3000 AGP was ranked second. Overall 3dfx unit shipments accounted for 37.6 percent of all video cards sold at retail, while sales generated by 3dfx products were more than double those of its closest competitor."

I think you are right about the 3000 being the only board for OEM's, though you would think they would want the 2000 because it's cheap. Most of the motherboard wins were 2000 though as I recall.

Does PC Data give the exact numbers shipped? That would be very useful.... It is kind of amazing that the V2 seems to be selling through so well....
