I think it is a time factor consideration. I noticed the hits on my site had dropped back down also until today when it suddenly spiked up for some reason. I think some days, people just don't have the time to check out everything.

As for the MDA site though, you are correct that many of the hits are our own. I check Gersh's Fair Value numbers every night so I can post them on my site, I also check one or two of my own charts to make sure the updates are working OK although that only generates one hit due to the way my area is layed out. Of course I think we all check Don's area when he has an update and I check everyone's charts if I am about to make a trade to get all perspectives. I do admit though I don't look at everyone else's charts unless I am able to actively trade which is not often due to work. I mainly check your stuff if I can't make up my mind on one of my reads and as I said when there is either a major trend change or when I am about to make a real money trade.

I don't know how useful it really is but I do find it personally to be a time saver since I don't have to click on Monty's site to see his stuff, then go through my favorites to find your stuff, then go check 100 MDA posts to find Don's index update etc.

I understand you have to put in a lot of work though so whatever you see fit is OK by me.

Good Luck,

Lee

LG, Before you jump off the cliff ...

I really appreciate the effort you and the others put into the MDA web site!!!

However, I probably only go to the site once or twice a week. I just don't have the time, and usually go out there to confirm my own views. Additionally, the "hits" probably reflects the complacent mood in the market in general. This too shall pass.

LG: I read your site every day without fail, all contributors. I'd be willing to pay for it (within reason <G>).

LG,

I had been reading it religiously until about 2 weeks ago. I really love the site, and hope you continue with it. The problem is, I've been reading about a half dozen TA books and trying to find some stocks worth investing in. You're sight is great for determining where the market is at, and even some good Index stuff, from Lee and others, but not too much individual stock stuff. Oh well, maybe when I learn the hard way I'll get more involved in indexed funds.
I'm really not trading, because I'm learning too much (and I'm scared of the market currently, and probably will be until Y2K is out of the way). But, if you keep the site going,I promise to click through a few hundred times to make up for lost time <g>
