Debra..I get no 'boost' from DELL for a plug but I now have 4 DELL computers and DELL laptop.. got another princeton digital flat top monitor through DELL and we are getting 2 more dells (one for my son and another for my husband (he likes the instant execution so much he also now wants his own 500, after VNWK we decided he could afford it).. My son gets a new DELL every year.. By the way these are all leases, except for the laptop. Our only exception is another possible Sony laptop (its so thin and has biggest screen with
he lightest weight) and Coms PDA.. Every DELL i order all the upgrades I want through the website get a 'price' quote than call in the order. The computer arrives usually in about 5 days.

Now this adds up to 8 DELL computers in the last 4 years. Service is excellent.. once got a completely floppy drive because I put in an old disk and the metal thingy got stuck, it could easily have been taken out with a thin plier. another time a tiny piece of the cd rom drive door became dislodged and again a whole new CD rom drive there also. Those were the only 2 problems in 4 years.

I've had other computers that I had to take to comp usa for a 2 day turnaround and was never completely satisified (a compaq and a compuware (that last one was a disaster)... Don't even mention the Hewlett Packard printers.. I had to actually send the printer (a big 1600 ink jet) to the company for a repair (this was about 3 years ago, I assume service has improved, once I had to drag the a newer 1200 Ink jet to a local store and literally carry the printer through an office building onto the second floor walk up where their 'authorized dealer' was..
Now I got my HP scanner and printer through DELL as well.
