There were all kinds of nice intraday patterns in MCOM on Friday, such as a coil, several bear flags, and a key candlestick reversal pattern at moving average resistance... if folks want to look through the transcript of our Friday chat, there are screen captures of real-time charts, and comments that you may find useful....

But you are speaking to to position trading, not day trading to a degree. It would seem a daytrader is concerned with what happens in minutes not days. A stock like the one you keep referring to might be a candidate for some in daytrading. Why?

Because it is volatile, due to low float, and has shown higher than average volume moving over large daily ranges. Those characteristics have been there for months. With those characteristics, It can be traded and should be in a watch database.

Patterns and indicator triggers are seen many times during a day on any active stocks of this type. I am sure a daytrader would like to be able to predict/guess at the next hour. Even though I got into the discussion that mentioned this stock, I think more can be derived by speaking to stocks and methods in general. The stock is not the focus but its characteristics and the method for its success.

If someone wants to point out a pattern or indicator, Please mention what is the periods set for chart. A 5 min looks different than a daily and so on.

We will have to watch dealing with specific stocks or quality of information will go down.
