Bilow, I beleive there have been instances of management who have been holders of the floorless instruments, and thereby directly culpable. My point was that the consequences of using these instruments is well known by now. Yes, I'll accept it as likely that the majority of the time the primary motivation for using them is so that management can hold on to their jobs. I'm not of the mind that this releases them from any moral liability in the matter. Management is supposed to look out for the interests of shareholders. Barb
