FrozenZ, for statistical analysis none of your scenario's are practical in this instance let ME explain. We have a variable # of people, as some new ones come in,( and some may leave) putting out money for variable amounts of time, of which some may be concurrent and some not. To keep track of the daily % gain for each person each day for each person would be a full time job. Adding the total % up and dividing by the total trades ,like you suggest,just does not cut it, as you have not taken the # of days in trade or the # of days since the folio started into account. Understand? I will try and come up with a fairer computation, or non at all, and leave it up the individuals taste for statistics. BTW if you are paying 5%( total) commission you are getting ripped of, I think the average US charge is $10 - $20, even in eskimo land here I only pay 1.5% online. PS , in future if you think someone is wrong it is courteous to PM them first , oops should have PM'd that. Scouser
