just read 100 new posts and learned nothing new. skeeter and cash are still the villians and unc is our hero. imo--- when the pr blitz starts ,and rambus comes out of the closet, the price per share will soar. i know i am waiting to buy new ,since you can't up grade to rmbs.(any wonder why dell is loving rmbs). skeeter is way off base by thinking the low end dictates sales or what tech. will be used. moores law has never applied more than this situation. rambus is not a new memory, it is a new architecture. BIG difference! rmbs is the path to the future for all processors. without rmbs we are stuck with present speeds and apps. the pc of the future will do things we only dream about. 133 will not support these new apps. and intc knows this. basically the fudsters are left with only one argument. " will people pay the difference for rmbs inside?" yep! capt. rocky

re. the infrastructure report

unclewest, don't worry too much about infrasture. I think their a bunch of high school kids. I used to subscribe to their service. It's a good investment policy not to listen to ANYTHING they say. Thev'e recommended so many loosers, my dog has a better record.

About the heat issue and laptops. Their is a small company in columbia, sc (believe it or not) that produce some type of frozen/cooled chip process that significantly reduces the heat. It supposedly has an increses the speed also. The name of the company is kyrotech (not public) seeking VC currently. Anyone, more technical have any thoughts. I can get get more info if need be.
