NetManage Reports Second Quarter Results today reported second quarter revenues of $18.3 million compared to $14.5 million for the second quarter of 1998, an increase of 26%. Net loss for the second quarter of 1999 was $1.2 million, or $0.02 per diluted share versus net loss of $2.7 million, or $0.06 per diluted share during the quarter a year ago. Operating expenses increased $1.6 million from the previous quarter principally due to higher than normal legal fees and the final settlement of a prior year's claim. During the second quarter the company purchased 2 million shares of its Common Stock in the open market. NetManage's Board of Directors has also authorized purchase of an additional 3 million shares of common stock.
