Then that is your defense and they are liable.If your account was not approved for shorting they should not be able to do it.As to Greenline.I agree on the Toronto faction of the system as being difficult to understand but the group I deal with on the phone here in beautiful Nova Scotia are just super...(Walter Chow,Liz Kyle,Judy,etc.) After dealing with RBC Net Action and those clowns in TO with the Royal the group in Halifax with TD Waterhouse is a breath of fresh air.I have even gone so far as to compliment them on two occassions for their professionalism and politeness.I get confirms on the line and can place a stop loss right away if need be.After 5:00 AST or 4:00 EST when they switch to TO it is a nightmare.By the time I figure out what the person is saying I have missed what I was looking for.(Lola rather than tie up the thread I will go to talk to Lola and post two instances of the Royals bungling) The Osprey
