No, because they are a closed system. AOL for instance is open. It is even likely that AOL may use IDT's system for their telephony.

Finally, and you heard it here first.

Although Sprint obviously has an interest in aquiring IDT. The fit is MUCH better with AOL.. In fact, it is almost perfect.

I don't doubt that AOL would pay a much higher premium.
