Yes I used to be a model and I've worked in some movies which you've probably never heard of but I don't do any type of modeling now. I have to say I don't miss it... it's a dirty business.

I don't know the technical definition of airbrushing but basically what it does is allow the photographer to minimize any flaws in the photograph. For example if you have a pimple or something... he can make it look like perfect skin without the pimple. You can't dramatically alter a person's features with airbrushing but you can minimize superficial flaws.

It might help you to know that those nude Playboy pictures are heavily airbrushed since there's lots of skin showing! So the next time you're looking at your wife or girlfriend naked... be a little more forgiving.... like the Playboy photographers are.

If you have any more questions about models... ask them on the Talk to Lola thread as I don't want to clutter this thread with non stock related stuff.

Lola:)
