I did that on I55 one time for a family of ducks. All 4 lanes let them across. Amazed me.

Chicago brought in endangered falcons to control the pigeons. The falcons being a type that lived in canyons did quite well. They still have plenty of pigeons though.

Olney, Illinois has a number of albino squirrels. There is a big fine for molesting them in any way. I like to watch squirrels but since Sue adopted Kate from the shelter they are few and far between here.
