Here are my recent picks, in no particular order... #1 REFR - a horrendous stock fraud. 35 year old company that has never delivered anything except stock. Various fraudulent misrepresentations about "licensing deals' and its bogus "SPD" technology have kept victims coming back for more. #2 ERTH - stock promotion fraud, dubious technology, float controlled by relative of scumbag arms dealer Adnan Kashoggi. #3 DRD - A poorly run drugstore chain swimming in debt. #4 AACE - check cashing center franchiser: facing increasing charge-offs, market saturation, and increasing regulation of its dubious "payday loan" business practices. #5 PWN - pawnshop chain that is also relying on "payday loan" scams to enhance their bottom line. #6 IDX - fraudulent stock promotion. Trying to get an internet angle by claiming that their technology will permit secure transactions by clients identifying themselves on fingerprint scanners. #7 WAVX - another internet hype story. Pushing the idea that their chip sets will be installed on PCs and interenet appliances permitting secure transactions. Laughably, they claim they will get 25%+ of every transaction (the technology is given away for free). #8 IDTC - recent revelations of sleazy loans, weak business plan, and hype surrounding their dubious "internet phone" company - net2phone makes this a dead-lock short. #9 CCSI - a complete stock fraud. I was hoping for another bounce up to 9 a share - didn't get it. Long term, it is going to pennies. #10 MCHM - an ongoing stock fraud revolving around their worthless transdermal gel. Every year they come up with another drug that will be delivered via their gel, they pump the stock, and another round of suckers is left holding the bag. #11 VLNC - stock promotion fraud. This zero-revenue company keeps promising (and failing) to deliver magic lithium-polymer batteries. Particulalry virulent internet stock promotion. A great long-term short. #12 BTIM - fraudulent misrepresentation of market size for its blood volume expander. Long term the stock will trade under 5. #13 CVSN - manufacturing souped-up microscopes. Investors are betting that the potential market will be HUGE. They're wrong.
