>>making World Online the biggest european ISP with 8-10 million subscribers by 2002 with a very aggressive pricing-policy and exceptional service package including VoIP. Besides Audax, TROS (Dutch broadcasting cy) , Belfort, Swiss holding SANDOZ is now the biggest stockholder. IDTC would negociate to take over a major principal part of the major Sandoz holding in World Online.<<

One can only hope this is true and will come to fruition. IDTC already has a great foothold in Europe with its many alliances and its calling card patent. Plus the fact that you can use Net2phone to call anywhere in the US for .10. Plus they recently announced a distribution of Net2phone to 12M Europeans.

Now if they were to become majority owners in what could become the AOL of Europe, not to mention the alliance with INTC, they would hold an extremely valuable property, for which I am sure the market would reward them very handsomely. Not only would they be the leaders in voice enabling the Internet in Europe but they would become the leading ISP in Europe as well. That alone could very easily propel the stock to new highs.

Let's hope they can convince Sandoz, although I find it hard to understand why they would want to sell such a property or that a small player like IDTC could afford it.

Meanwhile, it is probably a good idea to keep it fairly quiet.

Hawaii, I have seen this piece already somewhere and am doubtful about its authenticity. WorldOnline is indeed the largest dial-up ISP in the Netherlands and European ISPs can be acquired at a significant discount to their US counterparts since venture capital funding is less developed and there isn't yet much of a market for inet related IPOs there. IDTC is indeed strong in Holland, recently refocusing on ISP and understands Europe well. Who knows?

Something must be brewing, because that is my only explanation of the recent (and continuing) short attack. Why would they loudly short a stock in the low 20s, when they could wait for a runup to the low 30s and short it from there for a much larger gain?
No, somebody used the Herb opportunity (and perhaps others to come) to cover and buy low. On Thursday it held 20 because the big money was buying. Yesterday it held 22 because the big money was buying.

And Jonas knows that he needs a blockbuster deal to kill the Herbs and the Pinks.

Fingers crossed.
