Paul,

I'm enjoying watch you take this conversation all over the map. Even if you start to make stuff up.. like this:

Intel's mission is to make the largest profit they can for their shareholders

If that was Intel's mission then:

(a) they need to destroy the competition

or

(b) stop the price cuts. It's clear that without the recent price cuts Intel's profits owuld be even LARGER. Therefore Intel is FAILING to "make the largest profit they can".

So sorry.

Steve

Re: "Intel's mission is to make the largest profit they can for their shareholders."

What a joke! Intel's pricing strategy over the last year and half has taken literally billions -- BILLIONS -- right out of the pockets of INTC shareholders. All just to take a few bucks out of tiny little AMD's pocket.

It kind of reminds me of the cartoon where the guy literally destroys his entire house just to try to kill the little mouse that's bothering him. Unfortunately, at the end of the day the mouse is still alive and kicking, and the guy ends up homeless.

Looks like you guys have been through all this stuff, though.

Kevin
