Windows SE comes with IE5. If you are getting a brand new box, it depends on the box manufacture. If you buy a new Dell, I would think you will get IE5.

One thing about older monitors, some cannot handle high resolutions, if you set your computer to a very high rez the monitor may not recognize it and your screen will go haywire, and unreadable.

Chances are if he bought that monitor with the P100, it should work. If he runs the same rez he did before 640x480 or 800x600 he should be fine. Check the manual for the monitor.

A graphics accelerator will not affect the monitor.
