As I said, nascent. But steady progress is being made in the Netwoking marketplace, no? Stated growth rates are 30% / year, I believe. Also, I believe the last 3COM CC cited pressure form Intel when discussing lower than stellar revenues.

I am really curious about the impact of the Network Microprocessor. I don't think Intel would spearhead this initiative without testing the waters to see if Networkers might find this type of product compelling vs. ASIC.
