Win-Lose-Draw, I just got back from vacation and read several posts.

In my post #20008 to you, I wrote...

"Do you know anything about Gateways and how they might work. I believe that this a major component in VoIP. I am just starting to increase my knowledge in this area."

You didn't respond to this part of my message, You must have forgot this part.

I thought that you had made a statement in one of your post that you were involved in building or designing network backbone. If I am mistaken and you don't know anything about gateways, then that is OK. Maybe it was someone else who knows about this stuff.

I will be gone again from home for training at Raleigh, NC for two weeks. So I will be able to read the thread remotely now, but unable to respond. So I will be able to see your reply. My company has gotten me remote dial-up access through our intranet to the internet. That way I can work from any location.

While I am at Nortel Networks in Raleigh, I will see if I can get any information on VOIP from them, I believe they have a product called Microm or something like that for VOIP. That might enlighten me on a lot of issues.

Looking forward to your response about Gateways.....

Thanks in advance...
