ease of use problem will be solved with........VOICE RECOGNITION !!

Everyone can talk a lot faster than they can type. Hell, most people can't type. That's why the phone is so popular.

The next big isn't "probably" the internet - it IS the internet. I can affirm that based on my switch in the last year from TV to the internet (as far as employment). All my TV friends are just now "waking up" and asking questions. A year to 2 ago, all of them called it a fad against my warnings, as I tried to introduce them to this new medium. When they fought it, I started looking to switch.
Now, for the first time in my 15 year career, I have old professionals calling me for advice.....they don't understand the simplest conundrum of all: your business isn't an isolated situation. The railroads weren't in the railroad business, but transportation. TV isn't in the TV business, but communications.

As this changes, your evaluation will become more and more correct. AAPL has the lead, will continue to expand it (particularly if ORCL joins them)....but JAVA (and SUNW, as a result) may well take on a dominating role as JAVA develops into an easy-to-use OS.
AAPL can benefit from this by purchasing Palm....that is what I am hoping for. Palm is the "next" big thing.
