I would think the un blinding of the data, even if that is not until August 13, would stimulate any parties interested in Mycoprex to move faster. The fact that Allergan partnered for rBPI21, is another reason I would think the heat would be on.

XOMA indicates there are several parties looking at Mycoprex. What do you tell your boss if someone else makes the deal and a blockbuster drug is produced?

But none of the above guarantees there will be a deal. If there is one it could be several magnitudes larger than the Allergan deal. Perhaps 4 to 9 times as large. My reasoning for this is it seems the $11 million was considered small potatoes and the market for a powerful fungicide that works is huge.
