Joe, Re: AMD and profits (perhaps the greatest oxymoron of all time) For more than 3 years I have watched as the SI AMD fanatics tell everyone how wonderful AMD products are. They love to talk about this benchmark or that benchmark. You know...the "mine is bigger than yours" mentality. If you notice, however, they hate to talk about financial stuff, like profits <gg>. After years and years, they still haven't grasped the difference between designing a product and manufacturing, marketing, and selling it for a profit. This is why Jerry continues to find an endless pool of suckers to draw upon. FF
