David, That is a good question. There are actually volumes written on how to value businesses. I know, because I once went through the exercise of buying a small business. You look at a lot of financial data in order to make that determination, but it is usually subjective. Sellers tend to think high, buyers like to think low <g>. If I wanted to spend the time, I could pour through all of the SEC filings for EBAY and make a stab at it, but I don't have the time or the inclination. By the way, thank you for proving my point.
