I just watched the EMC slides from the SAN conference.
The slide on the Conectrix listed the following

No sinlge point of failure
Redundant architecture

Management system
Supports any # of switches

Non-disruptive, on line maintenance

On-line code upgrade

high reliability of components

proactive remote maintenance

Redundant -
With auto failover

The slide suggested that the SIlkworm came up short in all the above
features.

How would the Sanbox compare.

PS EMC had several slides with the top heading

What it takes to play in the "SAN-box"

Very similar to ANCRs trademake expression......probably doesn't mean anything.
