Mad2, i think that if there was a detailed analysis done on the cost side, you would find a 'mismatch' between costs and the 'increase' in page views

but then again, it depends on how you count views, imho
shifting of goodwill and ammortizing costs is old hat to companies and if reported, longs and shorts could analyze the numbers

more important to Yahoo AND longs and shorts should be page views and the revenue per page view

if Yahoo is getting LESS revenue per page view it would mean trouble, the whole INUT sector collapses like a muli-level marketing mountain

if 'magically' Yahoo gets less per page view BUT more page views, revenue impact is miminized and the entire market is healthy

doesn't this sound like a central bank? LOL

guess on Yahoo tank--when it's top 10 customers go red+60 days
