I remember ticking everybody off when we were playing baseball and I knocked down the girl playing first base because she was standing in my way when I ran to base. And another time being accused of cheating when I slid home, incidentally knocking down the catcher, who was standing in my way. Not that I'm competitive or anything.

<<I remember in Jr. High, '71, being pulled off the softball diamond after a game against another school by the Principal, himself. I had blocked the plate on a run home, like you a supposed. >>

Get your bones to Bloomington, Illinois this September, the womens World Championship will be held here again. Tight little bodies playing a man's game er, er. excuse me, I went nuts there. No shit world class athletes playing like and are champs.

Oh you had the wrong couch. In junior high our softball coach was also the boys baseball coach. Ex marine!! I was the first baseman. There was a girl who played short stop who was just as tough as the toughest boys. She could actually throw farther than any boy in the school. Her name was Anne...I'll never forget. ANYWAY the coach told her when she threw the ball to me to knock me down. "Just knock her down come on come on throw it in there knock her down".

She never knocked me down, I had too much pride. But OUCH!!
