Paul, [edited] re >> By the way, have I overlooked your posting of AMAT price comparisons as compared with previous years?<<

No, I haven't done the new charts yet. Too busy with things
like [as reported to a friend]...

Today we were at Point Lobos with **** and **** ******.
We watched as marine mammal caretakers [ALL women] returned
two seals to the sea. They had nursed them back to health.
The seals were not at all eager to enter the ocean.
Finally, one swam out and disappeared under water.
The other one stayed in the water, but within feet
of the shore. I hope they make it.

Since the seals were brought to the shore in a pickup truck,
we got to see them very close. They have large brown eyes
and the look got to me.
[edit] actually they are sea lions and the eyes
may be closer to black.

Paul, here's the AMAT price/SEMI orders chart - expanded back to
January 1995.

geocities.com

Price is way ahead of orders this cycle.
Some would explain that by pointing at
Applied's greater market share.

Ben Antanaitis' Max Pain [tm] point is 65 and
options expire Friday. So that may drive
the stocks for the rest of the week.
