demagogue - to obtain a following thru means of appeals to emotions and prejudices, with a focus on fear, mistrust, worry, helplessness... Hmmm.... WHO are the people who claim that without gold backing currencies the financial world is going to blow and send gold running to mega-levels?? WHO amongst us seems to require a natural disaster, Y2K, regional conflict, hyper-inflation, race wars, meteorites hitting the earth, and a whole mess of other conflagrations as justification for owning a particular investment? WHO is claiming global conspiracies of hidden powers bent on destroying the freedoms of US citizens and everyone else in a quest for a "new world order"??? It sure ain't me, brudda.
