Justa,

<<Re: "I don't think it would be a stretch to say that Bob doesn't like brokers who sell loaded funds.">>

<<I think it would be more accurate to say that Bob does not think it is a good idea to buy loaded funds from a broker.>>

Thanks for your comments. I disagree with only your above response. My comment above is in my opinion an understatement.

If Bob harbors no resentment toward mutual fund brokers, why does he consistantly use air time to make much ado about "fat commisssions" and (totally useless and utter speculation in) suggestions as to what they spent the money on? Yesterday it was a new car, the time before it was a vacation. I've never heard him suggest that a car dealer or a mortgage broker got a "fat commission," bot a "new car" or a fancy "vacation."

Bob likes fixed interest mortgages, but I've never heard him say his customary "Oh brother!" when someone calls in having gotten an adjustable mortgage. Only when mutual fund brokers are involved. As Bob would say, I don't get it.

I think the issue goes much further than Bob thinking that loaded funds are a bad idea. His attitude makes me wonder if there was some personal experience with a family member or something that has twisted his objectivity here--as compared to other commission business in the financial sector.

I don't want to belabor the point and continue to have immense respect for Bob. He's made me a fortune and there is none better on the radio. The issue above is not a crusade for me as it is for Bob.

Rgds, D
