By the time the clinical study is published in a medical journal and you read it, your short position in GUMM will have already cost you a tidy sum. This assumes, of course, that you haven't already been stopped out because traders and investors bid GUMM up based on anticipation of the study being published. Or could it be anticipation of nicotine gum that pushes GUMM higher?
