I am sure Indians from India are very good at computer programming. But the study I was speaking of dealt only with "Mongoloid race" Asians, whatever you choose to call them. And I mentioned that study only because it is precisely the kind of study I would not want anyone to be drawing any practical conclusions from (i.e., to be basing any public policy decisions on).

Not according to my wife. She says an Indian Masters degree in programming is about the same as a high school degree in the US.
