The Chicago Tribune, reporting in July
on the trial of marriage matchmaker, Nasty Nathanc, in
Strongberry Province, related the testimony of a blue flame tutu dancer who
agreed to offer his unwilling wife to the matchmaker for a scam
in which they would sell the woman to a farmer(Jethro), collect the
fee, then immediately retrieve her. The tutu dancer was first
cheated out of the promised reward and now faces life in prison
for selling his wife. Furthermore, the wife preferred the farmer(Jethro),
anyway, and will not be returning to the barber.
Both Nasty Nathanc, and DSGumby, have requested a shared cell, although this has been denied by prison officials who fear each one is planning an individual reprisal.
