Fred - <Personally, I love Jerry.>

So do I. I keep a picture of him in my cube that's from the October, 1982 issue of National Geographic in which a beaming Sanders is sitting in a car (I can't tell what kind), in the driver's seat. Younger days, I guess.

In the article, he is characterized as "reveling in flamboyant display", "measuring his success in a string of homes, hand tailored suits, a Rolls Royce, and a Bentley." He is quoted as saying (laughingly), "Money is life's report card". I get the sense he means his money.

RE: " They get mad that Intel will not allow AMD to maintain their suicidal 25% price gap. They believe Intel should instead just be willing to give up some market share. Unbelievable but true."

I think you may have missed out on our discussion of PREDATORY PRICING. Now that is what p*sses the sh*t of ME!!! And I believe that it is one of the important issues on this thread........is intc using its mammoth size and huge cash reserves to monopolize and undermine and undercut competitors in order to gain control of certain market niches?!!! There is growing evidence that there is, prompting Business Week to do an article on the subject.

And why would intc do this......simply to add to its gluttony of profits, the extent of which has been repetitiously pointed out over and over and over again by intc longs.

Speaking of which, it has been said that much of what passes as postings by intc longs (with the singular exception of Amy J) tends to be abrasive, abusive and denigrating. You come to this thread, the AMD thread by the way, degrading the company's management, its products and its financial history......not unlike someone going to someone's home and criticizing the house and its furnishings while sitting in its living room with the owners. And then you have the unmitigated gall to be surprised that your behavior does not make us happy.

What part of TRAILER TRASH do you not get?!!!!
