Si BOB - how about a private message library that is available to a court with a subpoena under the discovery rules in a law suit, those privacy issues are not covered and although you cannot yourself remove nor access them, a court action can cause them to be produced and admitted. What is good to know, also, is that all private messages I have received and produced ARE accessible and WILL be produced when called for. What is also good to know is that the legal department at SI has admitted to being negligent in not notifying the participants of SI when their private information has been accessed, not providing the names of those requesting the information, the purpose, nor the time proscribed by law to the SI participant to make a response to acquiesce or deny the release. And this information is released without subpoenas! Imagine that. I have an email from the legal department from a Mr. Caldwell completely detailing the SI policy if you care to review it. To date, the SI legal department has failed to respond to my inquiry as to who SI provided my information to last week without a subpoena and without proper notification to me. But I understand SI is trying to improve upon its best efforts. Do not remove ANY of my posts from any thread I have participated upon, I appreciate the one request I had sent you on an open board to remove a post that was offensive and without substantive comment. However, it could be produced if required, verbatim, and the recipient of that post has since forgiven me and could also provide the post verbatim. It appears that the light is finally dawning on participants of Silicon Investor regarding their privacy and the imperative necessity for FACTS and substantive content are available for close scrutiny and subject to cause a complete re-education of the interpretation of "privacy rights" "liability" and "accountability" - this includes participants, as well as the companies that are discussed. Silicon Investor is promoted as a forum to discuss the aspects of a company - what I would like to know is the course the forum sees itself as evolving into. Anyway, hope you continue to do your GOOD job SI Bob and thanks for all you have done to date. Sincerely, Jacalyn M. Deaner
